Project Genesis summer youth employment participants work in a variety of departments throughout the Detroit Medical Center obtaining exposure in both clinical and non-clinical areas. Opportunities are closely aligned with the participant’s healthcare interest. These experiences allow insight into career-potential jobs, helping participants make decisions about courses of study at the high school and college level. Project Genesis helps the DMC acquire human capital with potential to grow its workforce.
